Situated on Impalila Island on the Eastern Caprivi, Namibia, at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers you will find the Ichingo Chobe River Lodge. The nearest town is Kasane, Botswana and the Victoria Falls/Livingstone is 80 km’s downstream. Family owned and managed, this is the perfect platform to experience all that the Chobe has to offer with the added benefits of being on the Namibian side of the river.
Quieter, more secluded and personalized, the lodge is ideal for families, couples or groups who wish to enjoy the very best of an African river safari. Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is a luxury tented lodge set beneath a riverine canopy and on the banks of the Chobe River.
Accommodation consists of eight large double/twin Meru en-suite tents, each beautifully turned out with its own private balcony overlooking the Chobe rapids. The main Lodge buildings provide real comfort and include a relaxing lounge, a welcoming bar and a separate open-air dining room as well as a refreshing pool. The large trees and flowing waters promote a secluded, personalized and serene environment in which to completely unwind and enjoy the sights and sounds of a true river experience. To add to the personal level of service that has become a trademark of Ichingo Chobe River Lodge there is a large fleet of high quality tender boats that guarantee that each group of guests are provided with their own dedicated guide and boat. In this way, we can be certain that all guests enjoy a stay that is tailor-made to their own requirements.
